After a century of excavations and conservation works of different institutions, state and university organizations in the archaeological site of Elis, the bibliography is now extensive.
At the disposal of the researcher with a special interest in the subject are excavation reports published in archaeological journals, various undergraduate and postgraduate theses, numerous articles and monographs, as well as books and other publications. In recent years, online posts have also been added to this body of material. However, what remains lacking — as is the case elsewhere — are detailed reports, presentations, and analyses concerning the monuments, exhibits, and broader archaeological issues of Elis.
