Celebrate with us the International Museum Day 2026

The Archaeological Museum of Elis is participating in the celebration of International Museum Day 2026 with a special educational event, taking place on Monday, May 18th, at 10:00 AM.

The event focuses on the institution of the Olympic Games and the core values they represent, such as fair play, the athletic ideal, and moral reward.

The program is exclusively for schools and includes:

• Guided Tour: A tour of the museum’s exhibition galleries, highlighting the historic relationship between Elis and the Olympic Games.
• Experiential Workshop: An interactive activity allowing participants to practically engage with the experience of ancient ritual.

This initiative aims to showcase the museum’s role as an institution that promotes universal values capable of uniting people across the world.
